


About the Role
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process of company-produced products.
Key Activities
Oversees the daily operations of the Blow Mold, Roto Mold, and Production Departments ensuring that work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensures that all machinery and equipment is properly functioning before the start of the shift and reports any malfunctioning to the department’s manager and maintenance department.
Records production counts at the start of the shift
Monitors scrap and regrind levels and adjusts accordingly.
Moves work-in-process (WIP) inventory to designated areas.
Records daily attendance for all employees
Plans and organizes the daily workflow of the team.
Assigns tasks and responsibilities to members of the team, delegating tasks as needed to ensure the timely and efficient completion of all tasks.
Trains employees and ensures that all safety procedures and guidelines are followed including proper use of tools and machinery, personal protective equipment, and proper handling and storage of products.
Oversees the overall progress of the employees’ work and monitors efficiencies.
Trains and develops employees to improve performance and productivity.
Assists in hiring of new employees.
Provide performance management feedback to management regarding members of the team.
Preferred Skills
Safety and Compliance knowledge: Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations, as well as compliance with company policies and procedures.
Time management skills: The ability to prioritize tasks, plan and organize work efficiently, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards and minimizing waste.
Education and Experience
An associate degree, or equivalent work experience.
At least three years of previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least one year of supervisor experience.
