About the Role

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow.

Key Activities

  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.

  • Aggressively pursue delinquent accounts, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize past-due balances.

  • Develop and enforce credit policies to reduce risk and improve cash flow.

  • Monitor AR aging reports and take proactive measures to resolve overdue accounts.

  • Communicate directly with customers to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes professionally and efficiently.

  • Collaborate with sales and finance teams to improve billing accuracy and streamline collection efforts.

  • Prepare and analyze AR reports, providing regular updates on collection progress and outstanding balances.

  • Lead and mentor AR team members, ensuring best practices are followed.

  • Work closely with legal teams when necessary to escalate collection efforts.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or B2B industries.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management.

  • Strong track record in collections, with a proactive and persistent approach.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
