About the Role
The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to implement strategies to reduce delinquency and improve cash flow.
Key Activities
Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Aggressively pursue delinquent accounts, implementing effective collection strategies to minimize past-due balances.
Develop and enforce credit policies to reduce risk and improve cash flow.
Monitor AR aging reports and take proactive measures to resolve overdue accounts.
Communicate directly with customers to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes professionally and efficiently.
Collaborate with sales and finance teams to improve billing accuracy and streamline collection efforts.
Prepare and analyze AR reports, providing regular updates on collection progress and outstanding balances.
Lead and mentor AR team members, ensuring best practices are followed.
Work closely with legal teams when necessary to escalate collection efforts.
Preferred Skills
Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or B2B industries.
Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management.
Strong track record in collections, with a proactive and persistent approach.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
