About the Role

The VP of Sales is responsible for setting customer-centric Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, developing high-performing sales teams, and expanding our market share in the packaging supplies and distribution industry.

Key Activities

  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Establish and implement industry-leading sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in the packaging and distribution industry.

  • Lead & Develop Sales Teams: Oversee and mentor a regional sales team, fostering a high-performance sales culture through training, coaching, and goal setting.

  • Customer & Market Strategy: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, aligning company offerings with customer needs.

  • Go-To-Market Execution: Lead the execution of customer-focused GTM strategies, ensuring strong positioning in the packaging distribution sector.

  • Commercialization & Problem-Solving: Translate customer priorities into business opportunities, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with operations, supply chain, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

  • Sales Performance & Analytics: Utilize data-driven insights, sales metrics, and forecasting to measure performance and adjust strategies.

  • Technology & Tools: Leverage Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools to manage sales operations and reporting.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong background in B2B sales, packaging materials, and distribution networks.

  • Experience in supply chain solutions, logistics, and industrial packaging.

  • Proven success in driving revenue growth through sales transformation initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 10+ years of experience developing and executing Go-To-Market Sales Strategies within the packaging supplies and distribution industry.

  • 7+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing sales teams in B2B sales.

  • 5+ years of experience successfully developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships.
