About the Role

The Sales Account Representative is responsible for selling protein products to large-scale customers. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Activities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in national restaurant chains, theme parks, airlines, and institutional foodservice providers.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.

  • Present product solutions tailored to customer needs, including portion-controlled cuts, marinated flavor profiles, and specialty processing techniques.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, quality, and timely delivery.

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to drive strategic sales initiatives.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to leadership.

Preferred Skills

  • Existing relationships with national foodservice accounts preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of protein processing, including portion control, marination, and packaging techniques.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations or Management or equivalent field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in foodservice sales, must have experience in protein/meat sales.
