


About the Role
The Sales Account Representative is responsible for selling protein products to large-scale customers. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a track record of exceeding sales targets.
Key Activities
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in national restaurant chains, theme parks, airlines, and institutional foodservice providers.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.
Present product solutions tailored to customer needs, including portion-controlled cuts, marinated flavor profiles, and specialty processing techniques.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, quality, and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive market positioning.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to drive strategic sales initiatives.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to leadership.
Preferred Skills
Existing relationships with national foodservice accounts preferred.
Strong knowledge of protein processing, including portion control, marination, and packaging techniques.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Operations or Management or equivalent field preferred
5+ years of experience in foodservice sales, must have experience in protein/meat sales.
