About the Role

The National Sales Manager will expand our market presence and capture a greater market share in the food, paper, cosmetics, and other chemicals industries.

Key Activities

  • National Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to target national accounts in the food, paper, cosmetics, and other chemicals industries.

  • Identify key market segments and opportunities for growth, leveraging industry insights and market trends.

  • Set ambitious sales targets and objectives, working closely with the executive team to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Proactively prospect and engage with potential clients to generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.

  • Develop customized sales proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition of our hydrocolloid products to prospective clients.

  • Trade Show Participation: Represent the company at industry trade shows and events, networking with key stakeholders and promoting our products and services.

  • Stay abreast of industry developments and the competitive landscape, gathering market intelligence and insights to inform sales strategies and product positioning.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment on sales objectives and strategies.

  • Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development efforts and enhance the overall customer experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of hydrocolloid products and their applications in various industries.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the ingredient or chemical industry.
