About the Role
The Mechanic will be responsible for performing maintenance, preventive and otherwise, on all operational and facility equipment. Participates in Manufacturing Process Improvement initiatives related to equipment and other related equipment; evaluates malfunctions, troubleshoots equipment and systems.
Key Activities
Assesses equipment technical malfunctions and troubleshoots equipment and systems, performs repairs, and implements technical solutions.
Perform specialized and technical maintenance activities on printing presses and related equipment.
Conducts training programs for employees in troubleshooting and performing maintenance work on printing presses and related equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance related to printing presses and related equipment.
Diagnoses and solves technical, engineering and electronic problems and malfunctions to a variety of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other related equipment.
Ensures continuous operations of plant equipment for peak performance and to meet customer demands.
Preferred Skills
Electrical experience preferred.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience required.
