About the Role

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising all maintenance operations of the company under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.

Key Activities

  • Assume management responsibilities of the department in the absence of the Maintenance Manager

  • Specify all maintenance-related parts for purchasing

  • Oversee the assignment of tasks to maintenance staff

  • Stop machinery due to maintenance requirements with appropriate approval of the Maintenance Manager, the Plant Manager, or the President

  • Ensure appropriate communication of significant maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager, including equipment/resource needs

  • Implementation and performance of maintenance corrective action procedures

  • Monitoring and delegation of preventive maintenance program

  • Supervise storage of technical data and documentation

  • Provide training to and supervision of all maintenance personnel

  • Implementation and monitoring of continual improvement relating to maintenance

  • Evaluation of the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance program

  • Monitor and communicate needs relative to building, workspace, and related utilities

  • Troubleshoot all production machinery and equipment

  • Schedule preventative maintenance activities

  • Assessment of appropriate process equipment, both hardware and software

  • Maintain good housekeeping practices

  • Requires regular attendance by scheduled shift time and days; as well as compliance with the Attendance Policy.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organization skills

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in maintenance with proficiency in mechanics, electrical/electronic, and hydraulic equipment

  • Must-Have- experience with repairing injection molding equipment
