About the Role

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for conducting and facilitating internal and external audits of the quality management system and company processes.

Key Activities

  • Creates and implements testing and inspection criteria

  • Maintains the quality management system (ISO 13485)

  • Verifies that purchased product is conforming

  • Releases product as conforming

  • Identifies, documents, and segregates (where applicable) nonconforming products Makes nonconforming product disposition decisions along with the Manufacturing Supervisor

  • Verifies reworked nonconforming products

  • Evaluates the need for corrective and preventive actions

  • Requests and implements corrective and preventive actions

  • Verifies the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions

  • Starts NCR investigations for further follow-up with customers/vendors

  • Conducts and records the training of personnel

  • Collecting and analyzing quality performance data

  • Perform in-house calibration and maintain records of calibration

  • Work with production personnel to analyze and verify the capability of production processes and vendors’ parts/services

  • Communicating with suppliers regarding their quality performance (notifications, requests for corrective actions, etc.)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Keyence inspection systems is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience

  • Experience with NCRs, Bills of Materials, blueprints/specs, purchasing contracts, and inventory control systems.

  • Experience with the use and calibration of mechanical measuring tools. This includes calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauge blocks, plug gauges, thread gauges, ring gauges, air gauges, and optical comparators.
