About the Role
The Senior Accountant will have a strong background in accounting, with expertise in preparing and reviewing complex financial reports.
Key Activities
Prepare and review complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports specific to the industrial manufacturing sector.
Analyze trends in costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses.
Report the organization’s financial status to management, offering actionable recommendations on resource utilization and budget assumptions.
Assist in the development and analysis of the company’s long-range plans, annual budgets, and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with various departments to enhance financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Mentored and guided junior accounting staff on best practices and software applications.
Continuously seek improvements in financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Preferred Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Project; experience with other financial software applications is a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
