About the Role
The human resources manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the administrative functions of an organization. Oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning.
Key Activities
They administer compensation and benefits programs, manage payroll processes, and ensure accurate data maintenance.
They are facilitating new employee orientation, developing and managing training programs, and overseeing regular employee training initiatives.
Maintaining HR Information Systems (HRIS), managing employee visa and work authorizations, and addressing work-related issues.
Managing HR-related documentation, overseeing office supply procurement, and liaising with external vendors and service
Addressing employee grievances, conducting performance evaluations, and maintaining a positive work environment.
Developing and implementing HR policies and ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Preferred Skills
HR Certification preferred.
knowledge of federal and local laws, FLMA, EDA.
Education and Experience
5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing experience.
CHRM certification.
English/Spanish.
