About the Role
The Process Technician - Extrusion Custom will be responsible for PET blow molding equipment, performing machine changeovers, and troubleshooting production lines.
Key Activities
Perform complete machine/line changeovers, including all downstream equipment (leak detectors, conveyors, flamers, box erectors, etc.), to ensure production meets schedule demands.
Maintain and troubleshoot blow molding machines to ensure optimal production performance.
Accurately log and maintain paperwork, including work orders, machine settings, mold maintenance, and any mold design changes.
Utilize comprehensive mechanical tools to carry out machine-related tasks.
Apply basic mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues.
Constantly monitor production for flaws in containers and ensure the quality of the final product.
Preferred Skills
Must possess a comprehensive set of mechanical tools for job duties.
Detail-oriented, with a keen ability to visually detect flaws and ensure product quality.
Education and Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Technician working with extrusion custom blow molding and plastic bottles.
Hands-on experience in completing machine and line changeovers.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
