About the Role
The CNC Operator will be responsible for cleaning the machine at the end of each shift.
Key Activities
Make machine adjustments that may be required, check dimensions, to insure
Conformance to drawings
Work in a shop environment safely with zero accidents and/or injuries
Set-up and operate CNC Machine Tools (Turning & or Milling / Drilling)
Read CNC programs, familiar with G & M codes
Make minor edits to CNC programs
Read and interpret Engineered Blue Print drawings
Understand and apply geometric tolerances
Set up and safely use various inspection tools and gages
Machine to required tolerances of .001” - .005”
SQF/ISO requirements compliance
Preferred Skills
Fadal or HAAS controller experience is preferred
Education and Experience
5+ years’ experience on CNC mills, CNC lathes and various manual machines
Familiarity with a Parlec Tool-Setter the Renishaw probe is a plus
