About the Role

The Account Manager will be responsible for building long-term profitable client relationships with high satisfaction rates by being the trusted advisor for our clients, solving customer needs from initial contact to delivery.

Key Activities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.

  • Track and trace project status and assign internal priorities.

  • Prepare quotations for repeat orders.

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executives.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.

  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives.

  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.

  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).

  • Prepare reports on account status.

  • Confirm purchase orders, including gathering pertinent information from the client and the team.

  • Work with team members to handle and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.

  • Navigate both customer and company requirements to find solutions that satisfy the needs of both.

  • Maintain an awareness of client order history and proactively reach out to obtain new orders.

  • Travel as necessary to support these activities, on average 10-25%.

Preferred Skills

  • Plastics, Injection Molding Manufacturing experience

  • IQMS system experience

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, sales or account management in a manufacturing or other business-to-business environment.

  • Experience working with companies navigating in the healthcare, diagnostic and pharmaceutical market, using standalone consumables or consumables used along with automation.

  • Initiative, diligent follow-thru, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an upbeat, professional demeanor.
