About the Role
The Maintenance Planning Supervisor will be responsible for improving multiple facilities maintenance and preventative maintenance tracking that leads to improving the execution of our production plan, with safety, food safety, quality control and analysis, and resolution of production problems at the forefront.
Key Activities
Work safely and uphold the sites safety first culture
Get trained on our Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures and constantly strive to become an expert on our Food Safety and Quality principles
Help develop, track, and lead maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance programs
Help multiple Facilities in efficient operation and supervising the maintenance program
Efficiently schedule downtime repairs, preventative maintenance activities, and new equipment installs across the network to minimize downtime or equipment failures
Further progress our CMMS to track maintenance activities and track work orders across all Facilities
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills are required
Assist in developing cost reducing projects
Able to work in a team environment and work with Cross-Functional teams within the business
Have open, honest, direct, and non-aggressive communication
Responsible, trusted business partner
Self-Starting and self-managing, along with continuous improvement oriented
Possess the ability to effectively work under pressure - being able to prioritize, multi-task and make quick decisions in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment
Capable of objective setting, planning, execution, and critique
Flexible and adaptive in contributing to the needs of the organization and do what the situation requires
High computer proficiency with MS Office products and SAP, with a high focus on Excel.
Ability to interface and problem solve in a team environment consisting of various skill types is essential
Preferred Skills
Journeyman’s Class A license (Master is preferred).
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional.
Greasing and servicing equipment (adjust bucket elevator belts, screw conveyors, align blowers, etc.).
Education and Experience
Background in Industrial/Manufacturing operations.
Knowledge and application of HACCP and/or SQF.
Understanding of fluid dynamics and bulk solids handling.
Working knowledge of relays, motors, and gearboxes.
Work with programmable controllers, control systems and hardwire/software interlocks, variable frequency drives, and DC drives.
