About the Role

The National Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Key Activities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the labeling or folding carton industry.

  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.

  • Act as the main point of contact with our customers.

  • Vigorously advocate for clients within the organization.

  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts in labels or folding carton, packaging in the beauty industry. 

  • Collaborate with sales team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

  • Track and report on key account performance and revenue metrics.

  • Relentlessly work to drive and generate value for our customers.

  • Account Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to align strategies and deliver on client expectations.

  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and growth.

  • Communication and Presentations: Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on products, services, and industry trends.

  • Conduct presentations to showcase the value proposition and address client needs.

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Ensure all customer concerns, questions and inquiries are dealt with promptly and effectively.

  • Contract Negotiations: Negotiate contract terms and agreements with clients.

  • Ensure that contractual commitments are met and exceeded.

  • Collaborate with legal and financial teams to finalize and execute contracts/agreements.

  • Customer Satisfaction and Retention: Monitor and measure customer satisfaction levels.

  • Proactively address issues or concerns raised by key clients.

  • Continuously strive to enhance customer loyalty and retention.

  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions and competitor activities.

Preferred Skills

  • Excellent customer-service skills, and the ability to handle multiple duties/assignments effectively and efficiently.

  • Strong knowledge of production methods, systems, and continuous-improvement processes.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS Degree in business or applicable field.

  • Five (5) or more years of work experience in a fast-paced sales/customer service or similar work environment.

  • Must have packaging (primary/secondary), labeling or folding carton sales experience to be successful in this role to be considered.
