About the Role

The Packaging Account Sales Rep will be responsible for selling packaging materials to those businesses that need supplies for manual and automated packaging lines for palletizing, packaging, bundling and wrapping purposes.

Key Activities

  • Responsible for professionally and effectively representing the company in the packaging marketplace. This requires successful management of a sales territory by developing and fostering sound customer relationships.

  • Examine and evaluate a customer's packaging needs and then offer recommendations to fulfill those needs.

  • Profitably grow the business with priority strategic (high transactional to consultative mix) accounts by developing and successfully implementing Key Account Plans.

  • Enable profitable decision-making through demonstrated knowledge of; general business principles, internal financial management and industry business practices.

  • Identify and implement value propositions with customers through knowledge and application company’s capabilities and resources.

  • Create advantage through continuous evaluation of market conditions, competitive environment and opportunities for innovation.

Preferred Skills

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients for repeat business.

  • Meet and exceed sales goals.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 year of experience in packaging consumables handling Sales and Customer service.

  • Territory will be 2.5 hours in and around Milwaukee.

  • Create a business-friendly relationship with clients and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Must possess competency in developing new business.
