About the Role

The Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales growth, management, and development of both new and existing accounts. They will completely understand the target industry in his/her geographic region and relationships with these customers and specific industries.

Key Activities

  • Identify potential customers and build a customer base in the assigned region.

  • Sell and promote our client’s products and services to meet or exceed both short-term and long-term goals in the assigned region.

  • Meet individualized sales, gross profit, and margin goals in their assigned region.

  • Actively engage in sales calls and cold calling on prospective customers at a frequency that places our client as a “go-to” supplier of all potential packaging requirements.

  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products and services offered can help meet those needs.

  • Act as the direct, primary face-to-face contact to the customer maintaining strong win/win relationships.

  • Identify key decision makers and influencers beyond purchasing and craft relationship plans.

  • Develop and maintain action plans for how accounts will achieve targets and identify specific actions to improve earnings.

  • Develop, manage, and execute contract negotiations Manage negotiations/resolution of product, quality, and service issues.

  • Collaborate with sales development and sales support resources to provide customer proposals and quotations focused on generating business and market growth potential.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  •  Intermediate MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT).

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of business-to-business sales experience.

  • The ideal candidate needs to be personable and energetic, take initiative, run with leads, and be persistent and follow through.
